Description:

I began this painting with the idea of creating a 'Chakra tree'. An organic tree shape, 7 colors and a figurative suggestion stepping out of the trunk. From there I was amazed by the ease at finding her face and her honorable, serene expression. She awakens this painting by her presence, swaying with the brilliant energy around her, but able to maintain a beautiful balance. I added the deer antlers and nine muses dancing at her feet because of my inspired connections to the lovely and free Artemis.
